Season Rings
A club's league season as a cross-section of a tree, one ring per match from the pith outwards. Wide where the club had the threat, dark latewood for points, charred notches where goals went in.

- Ring widthThe club's share of the xG around that minute, smoothed over 6 minutes.

Methodology
- One scale for every club after the same number of matches, so two discs from the same week compare directly.
- After each gameweek, 10 clubs are picked on a two-week rotation through the league and ranked by a drama score.
- Each slot posts the top club alone, then four more in a reply.
- Checks: ring width ranks with match xG share at Spearman 0.90 to 0.93, and every goal is marked on the disc.
- Weak point: the goal flecks are hard to see on a phone.
